Placing an Order

When you are ready, please send us an order request here.  Once your order is submitted, we will confirm all details and get to work! 

For wedding planning and custom orders, please reach out directly to discuss how we can align with your goals. After details are finalized, a 50% deposit is required to begin, and the remaining balance is due upon delivery. 

When to Order

For the best experience please order as  far in advance as you can, as we book events 4-6 weeks in advance.  We understand last minute needs come up, so please take a look at our classics selection for items that can be made in 1-3 days. 

Editing an Order

Creating custom confections is a multi-day artistic process of gathering fresh, high-quality ingredients, designing, prepping, and preparing. Due to the nature of our operation, to accommodate any changes or updates, please email us at info@decanelabakery.com  with desired changes at least five business days before your final delivery date. 

Note: Revisions, substitutes, and additions will incur additional charges. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations requested  five business days before the final delivery date will receive a full refund. Orders canceled 72 hours before the final delivery date, we will receive a 50% refund. Orders canceled within 36 hours of the final delivery date will be charged the full price of the order. All deposits are final, no refunds. 

Delivery Service Area

Located in the beautiful Napa Valley, we deliver to all surrounding areas, including Sonoma, Vallejo, Yountville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga, Marin County, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

For delivery, the price varies depending on the distance from our studio plus tolls:

• For orders under $100, courier delivery in Napa-Calistoga — $15.00

• For orders $100 or more, courier delivery in Napa-Calistoga — $40.00

• Courier delivery to Sonoma  — $40.00

• Courier Delivery to Healdsburg — $45.00

• Courier Delivery to Santa Rosa — $45.00

• Courier delivery to Alameda — $50.00

• Courier Delivery to Marin — $55.00

• Courier Delivery to Oakland — $60.00

• Courier delivery to San Francisco — $60.00

• Courier Delivery to Berkeley — $65.00

To fulfill delivery, we use a hand-deliver on-time and in great condition. Products are delivered in a box with a carrying ribbon to protect the cake and make it easy to transport. For delivery outside of the cities listed above, contact us about setting up a private courier.

Communication

To confirm your delivery, you will receive a reminder notification to the phone number and email provided at ordering 24 hrs before final delivery. 

 Sending a surprise gift?  Please note the recipient’s name, phone number, and  delivery address in the check out notes. We won’t give away the surprise, but we will need to get in touch with the recipient within 15 min of our delivery arrival.

Flavor Profiles

De’Canela signature flavors include; Mexican Vanilla, Rustic Strawberry, Chocolat, Seasonal Citrus, and Horchata Cinnamon. 

• Mexican Vanilla: Rich, sweet, with woody notes; Mexican vanilla has a deep, creamy spicy-sweet character.

  • *Gluten-Free, Vegan, Keto, Paleo options available.

• Rustic Berry: Simple, bold, earthy flavors, sweet and tart. 

  • *Sugar-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Keto, Paleo options available.

• Chocolat: Classic, warm flavor with light floral and fruity notes of coffee, nuts, and mild spice. 

  • *Sugar-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Keto, Paleo options available. 

• Horchata Cinnamon: A warm traditional favorite; creamy, sweet, cinnamon spice filled with hints of nutmeg, vanilla, and almond.

• Seasonal Citrus: Our citrus flavors are bright, refreshing, and tangy all year round, with seasonal base ingredients ranging from Meyer lemons, key limes, clementine, kumquats, and yuzu.

Cookies (1-5 business days)

De'Canela cookies are made for those who like to give and indulge. Ranging in flavors, with six to twelve per box, they're perfect for sharing. De'Canela cookies come in three base flavors - Chocolate Chip, Sugar, and Horchata Cinnamon. Ranging $10-30 per box. 

Macaroons (1-5 business days)

De'Canela macaroons are soft, airy, so they melt in your mouth. Ranging in flavors, with six, eight, ten, or twelve per box, they make the perfect gift for those who desire a light treat. De'Canela macaroons are made to order and seasonally rotate flavors. Ranging $10-$65 per box. 

Pies (3-5 business days)

De'Canela pies are soft and perfectly flakey. Available in various seasonal flavors and sizes, our pies are a great way to complement a delicious meal or give as a gift. De'Canela pies are made to order with flavors that rotate seasonally. Starting at $50.

Dietary Restrictions

• Nut Allergies: Please make note of any nut allergies when ordering. We provide products that do not contain nuts, however, we do operate in a facility that processes tree nuts.

• Gluten-Free: All flavors can be modified for gluten intolerance. All equipment is thoroughly washed and sanitized between uses, we do not operate in a fully gluten-free facility.

• Vegan: We are able to modify most confections to accommodate vegan lifestyles. 

• Keto: We are able to modify most confections to accommodate keto lifestyles. 

• Paleo: We are able to modify most confections to accommodate paleo lifestyles. 

• Sugar-Free: Most of our confections can be created sans sugar or with a sugar substitute. Please include specifications.
